Rain rain go away

rain rain go away
On a rainy day i usually cant be bothered to wear anything other than sweats and a tank top, my hair wild and no makeup. This outfit to me is the perfect thing to wear if i were out and about in the city.

Birthday Party

My jr's birthday is coming up fast and ive started to gather some ideas of what id like to do. Jordan & Henrys birthdays are almost 2 months apart but i think this year we will be having a party for just the baby he will be turning 2. And for jordan just something small at home with his cousins and cake.so far here is what i have. Toy Story is jr's favorite disney movie and Woody is his favorite character so i knew right away that was the theme.

Ive been looking online for cute invitations and found a couple that i like. I also found really creative goody bags that tie into the Toy Story theme so im also thinking about which ones to order. As ar the where the party will be a friend of mine told me about this bouncy house place near by that does party rentals.

Im so excted to start planning my babys party i cant believe he will be turning 2 years old in about 3 months! :(

A Day at the Beach

Going  to the beach is one of our favorite things to do in the summer. Im not a big fan of being outdoors for hours at a time id much rather be inside with the a.c. on but the beach i something i really enjoy and the kids love it. Jordan loves it he rides the waves with his dad and loves to get knocked around, hes not scared at all! My jr is not as excited to be in the ice cold water but will stick his feet in every now and then.

The last time we went to the beach we found a baby shark that had been caught by a fisherman and then left attached to the hook pretty much to die. When we found it it was still alive, barely but alive. It was the coolest thing ever, obviously the only real life shark ive seen has been at an aquarium so this was a once in a lifetime thing. It looked fake and felt not at all like i imagined a shark would feel. I thought it would feel slimey or jelly like but instead it felt rough and dry like sandpaper. I had read thats what they felt like but they way they look makes you think otherwise. We felt so bad for it so my husband took the giant hook out of its mouth and let it go free. Id like to think it survived but it was just really weak and i dont really know what kind of shark it was.

Sex and The City

Aahhhh my favorite show of all time. I really wish it wa still on, and i dont mean the reruns that are on some of the channels. Its just not the same watching them minus the curse words and with commercials. I have to say besides Carrie being my favorite Samantha always managed to crack me up. Everything she said, what she did and how she did i just loved. She had no shame and owned her sexuality, i love it. Also the fact that she was a successful single woman was awesome i loved that she refused to settle down. I dont have a favorite episode i did like some more than others but i could never choose just one as my all time favorite.

Miranda i had mixed feelings about. I felt didnt like that she was always bringing the other girls down in a way. She was the most realistic of the four and i think she could have used some fairy dust in her life. Shes cute tho i love the episode where shes on a date with a gur and she had just gotten her braces on and she smiles and has all this food stuck in them! Hahaha i never laughed so hard!

And dear Charlotte. The eternal optimist. She was so innocent and just looking for Mr. Right the whole time. I must say i liked everything about Charlotte there isnt anything i can think of that turned me off about her. I really wish i could just snap my fingers and trade places with one of them, who it doesnt really matter they were all fabulous (and their wardrobes too).

Awesome Hair

So ive been looking for something new to do to my hair. I usually just leave it long and get it layered. Ive stayed away from the coloring process since my first son was born, it just always took forever and id end up spending 3-4 hours at the salon. Not fun at all. But thats all changing now that i saw the ombre hair color trend. Im ready for a new hair color and im thinking this will be it! Here are some of the pictures i found online that i think would suit my haircolor best.
